After a beautifully successful event last year launching Art Incognito, we've decided why not make it an annual thing! We loved working with all the artists last year and we invite past and new participants to join us again for this mysterious art show.
The Art Incognito Art Show + Fundraising Party kicks off on Friday April 24, 2026. This fundraising event is part of our efforts to sustain The Beaumont and its vital role in Vancouver's arts scene, as we work to secure a new home for our vibrant community!
We're calling on artists of all experience levels - whether you're a seasoned creator or just rediscovering your artistic side - to contribute up to three 8×8 inch art pieces in any medium you choose. (More detailed info below!)
All artwork will remain anonymous until it is purchased.
We truly value the talents of Vancouver's incredible art community and your contributions to supporting the arts, sharing your creativity, and helping shape the future of The Beaumont Studios.

Frequently Asked Questions
Art Incognito is a fundraiser supporting the Beaumont as we work to secure funding for our future home. This kicked off last year for our 20th Anniversary, and we're back for our 2nd year!
Artists will contribute artwork (1-3 pieces) to the show which will then be auctioned off for donation. Each artist will receive the option of a $25 supply stipend, or you can donate your portion back to the Beaumont. Whatever you see fit!
We also have blank canvases available for pick up if needed (more info on that below).
On the night of the event, patrons will buy tickets to the gallery (tiered pricing) which allows them access to the gallery to choose their anonymous painting! Your name and title will be put on the back of the piece so they will only know once they've purchased the painting.
This is a really fun way to allow people to participate without needing name recognition - it's about the art! And anyone can participate.
We welcome all art types, and mediums, so long as it is wall hangable and 8x8 inches. Age limit to 14 years and up.
It doesn't have to be painting! We will accept any visual medium, as long as it is within 8x8 in, and hangable. Paint, Pencils, Pencil Crayon, Pastels, Photography (mounted, or framed), Sculptural, Fabric. We are open to your creations!
Please note: If painting with oil, work MUST be thoroughly dry before drop off. Oil pastels and chalk not ideal as they have a lot of residue and we are storing pieces in close proximity together. If there is a way to seal these types of pieces that is ideal.
Registering is easy. Simply fill in the online registration form below. From there you'll need an 8 x 8 inch canvas (ideally 1.5 inch depth). You can purchase one from a local art store OR we will also have blank canvases available for pick up (on us!) at The Beaumont Studios/B1 Gallery (early March TBD) if that's more convenient for you!
We will have three drop-off days the week before the Easter long weekend. Once your artwork is complete, please drop it off to the Beaumont Studios (Honest To Pete's/B1 Gallery entrance).

- April 2 Thursday, 4-6 PM

No. All artwork must be 8 x 8 inch dimensions. Any other size will not be accepted due to strict hanging guidelines.

📋 Information for Artists
- DEADLINE: Artwork must be complete and dropped off to The Beaumont Studios/B1 Gallery entrance (2901 Alberta St) no later than Thursday April 2, 2026.
- Drop Off Dates: March 29 Sunday 1-3 PM | April 1 Wednesday, 4-7 PM | April 2 Thursday, 4-6 PM.
- Please fill out the online registration BEFORE drop-off.
- We will be hosting an Artist Appreciation Preview Night on Thursday April 23rd (as the fundraising event on April 24th is ticketed + timed entry and we want to make sure everyone participating gets a chance to see the show in all its glory!
- Artwork can be mailed to: The Beaumont Studios, 316 West 5th Ave, Vancouver V5Y 1J5 and must be received by the deadline. Please address packages to Art Incognito Show, C/O The Beaumont Studios
- All artists 14+ are welcome to submit work
- Work MUST be 8 x 8 inches. No hanging hardware is required if on a canvas
- Canvas depth: preferred 1.5 in deep but not mandatory. Please NO tiles.
- Photographers - you're invited too! Photos must be in an 8 x 8 in frame, or mounted to an 8 x 8 in canvas.
- Most mediums are acceptable as long as they meet the size criteria - we cannot accept anything that will not hang on the wall.
- MAXIMUM 3 pieces per artist - The B1 Gallery will exhibit at least 1 of each artist's pieces. No series please. They will not be hung together. The number of pieces displayed depends on the total number of submissions
- The artist's name MUST be on the BACK of the canvas. Please print name, as well as sign, so we can read it clearly. Each artist is revealed during the show when your piece comes off the wall.
- Please DO NOT sign the front of your piece(s) - it will not be able to be included in the show if you do!
- Artists are encouraged to title each piece, although not required. Please write the title of the piece on the back of the canvas. Untitled pieces will be displayed as "Untitled".
🎁 What do you get for participating?
Each artist may choose to receive $25 (CAD) per piece sold, with the remainder of revenue contributed to the fundraiser.
If you would prefer to donate your $25 to the Beaumont, we will issue you with a tax receipt.
Participating artists are invited to the Artist Appreciation Preview Party on April 23, which includes a complimentary drink. Come and see the show before it gets auctioned off!
